- Rickie Keeble Review added: 2018.11.03★ ★ ★ ★ ★As an avid Pie and mash consumer i was keen to try this new place in Basildon. my first impression was WOW, place was decorated to a very high standard and reading the little P&M facts on the walls was educational.
The place was very clean, spacious and modern. Staff were great and had typical east London banter.
Now to the grub! it didn't disappoint and was as good, if not better than anything i had during my visits to Upton park! Liquor was thick and plentiful, pies were meaty and pastry delicious. my colleague had their chicken pie which they said was equally scrumptious.
If you want pie and mash then go to this place, you wont be dissapointed. Only thing i would suggest is that they have a super chilli vinegar!
